Sottano Winery is located in one of the most unique wine regions for growing high-end grapes in Mendoza. Thirty kilometres away from the City of Mendoza and on the way to Chile, Sottano Winery enjoys the magnificent Andes Mountain Range as its backdrop. The winery is situated in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, in Perdriel, in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. It presides over two hectares of land, including 15,000 square meters of landscaping using only native species.

Sottano Cabernet Sauvignon

750mL | 13.4% ABV

The Cabs from Argentina are very similar to the Malbecs. The dry, hot climate of Argentina is really great for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has a deep and intense color with ruby hues. Black pepper, black bell peppers, cassis, cappaccino, tobacco, and varied spices are part of the complex aroma this wine displays. Mint and chocolate play in perfect harmony with the black fruits on the palate. It also has a great volume in the mouth where the tannins are firm and ripe, adding to a great balance. This pairs perfectly with red meats such as beef, lamb, and poultry.

Sottano Malbec

750mL | 14.5% ABV

This extremely popular Argentinian Malbec is an inky, medium-bodied, dry red wine with strong impressions of dark fruits on the nose and palate. Heavily dependent on where they are grown for variations in flavor, Argentinian Malbec has quickly become a world favorite due to the characteristics that the high-altitude climate and soils impart to the fruit. This wine tends to have mellower tannins than its French counterpart. It has aromas of ripe dark and red fruits such as plums and raspberries, complexed by delicate chocolate and vanilla provided by the oak. This wine also pairs very well with any savory red meat dish, particularly dishes that include spice.

Sottano Red Blend

750mL | 13.8% ABV

This blend is made up of Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. It has a deep ruby red color with violet and black hues, and is very light and attractive in the mouth with fresh and elegant aromas. Fruits, mineral notes, and oak notes produce a unique bouquet of aromas that are discovered as time passes. It has firm, vibrating and electric tannins, and its freshness and silkiness makes it sophisticated and seductive. This wine is pleasant and easy to drink; the flavors stay long and have a great volumen in the mouth that invites you to continue to enjoy it. This wine can be paired with meats and cheese such as beef, lamb, poultry, pork, venison, spicy food, mature and hard cheeses, and mild and soft cheeses.
